Iconic chef Lidia Bastianich is the Keynote Speaker to open the 22nd annual Women Chefs & Restaurateurs (WCR) national conference. She is a co-founder of WCR.
A walking tour of Eataly, co-founded by Bastianich, the largest artisanal Italian food and wine marketplace in NYC, is scheduled. "Taking A Bigger Bite Out Of Your Career" is the conference theme. Industry women leaders will share career and business advice. A panel of chefs, PR agents and TV personalities will discuss how to work with the media.
A mutli-course Gala Cocktail Hour and Awards Dinner will feature the best culinary talent in New York! The WCR mission is to educate and advance women in the industry through local, regional and national networking opportunities. Conference is open to industry professionals, students and the public.
